March is at an end and willpower

The last blog for March and willpower.

Well, here we are at the end of the month that has been the month of willpower.  If you followed the blogs earlier in the month, you will realise that willpower is not some innate quality that some people have and some do not, it is more of a process that, if you follow it with a little persistency and consistency, you cannot fail to get where you want to go, and that does not matter from where you are starting.   That is true of all people in all situations at all times.

Sometimes in life, we are required to face difficult issues and Mia, as has been mentioned in the previous blogs, will require some consistent persistence to come to terms with life and we can all help her in that regard.  So the song and other activities that we can all get involved in will help.  Those of you that have attended my courses or have been involved in my work will know that it is detox time and that takes a bit of willpower.

The deal is an exclusion diet that takes you from your normal diet down on to fluids and then reintroduces foods back up to a full diet.  Rie has agreed to do a daily flip to YouTube for those that want to follow it.  I’ll tell you what I will be doing and you can join in on a day by day basis or work the days in around your work schedule.  It is best to end up on fluids on days when you do not have to do too much and have some support, or when you are able to rest or sleep if possible.

I will be preparing over the weekend, accepting that Sunday is Easter Day and there will be a full dinner at our house.  On Monday, I will be dropping out all meats and heavy products so that Tuesday will be a cooked vegetable day, Wednesday raw veg, Thursday fruit, Friday fruit juice and Saturday either simply honey water and lemon or fruit juice.  Then I start to work my way up, so Sunday will probably be fruit, Monday raw veg, Tuesday cooked veg, Wednesday reintroducing wheat, Friday cheese and dairy, Saturday coffee and tea and then back up to a normal diet.

Each time we do the detox, the blue ones among you ask me for instructions and each time I say that they don’t exist.  Because we all have different diets and we all have different body systems and needs, the approach to a detox is individual.  Always seek advice from your doctor so that you know that it is safe for you.  Essentially, the diet takes us from the normal toxic diet of additives and meats and stimulants such as caffeine and tannin, and allows our body a period of recovery.  An increase in water consumption helps to flush the system.  It also gives us a chance to practise and develop our willpower.

Often people join the detox for help in substance abuse and this is a good time to quit a negative habit.  I know that people will be joining in this detox to help quit smoking.  When you are doing this, some suggestive or analytical hypnotherapy will help, especially when you are on fluids and in withdrawal.  I will address this in the daily video blogs, together with some suggestions of how to look after yourself.  If you access last year’s detox blogs through the archive, you will find ideas for menus and foods.

The good news is that during this detox, most people will lose about half a stone of weight.

I use the detox to review all aspects of my life: my thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, my projects and my plans.  The detox for me happens at many levels.  For you, it can be as deep as you want it to be.

I will be changing the blog format and frequency in April, so keep your eye on the site because there will be big changes there.  However, during April I want to focus around Mia and getting the recordings finished and out to market and bringing in as much money as possible, and in that I need your help.  So keep the words coming in, tell all your friends and family to visit the blog and read about Mia. I’ll keep you up to date with progress and together we will turn love into resources.

You take care of you and yours.

Willpower Six Time to test the idea

Willpower six - Time to test the idea
So if you have a clear image that is capable of becoming a vision, you have focussed and developed the image, created your plan and have dealt with your issues of self-belief so that you have the commitment and determination to make it happen, the next step is the test.

The Law of Intentional Creation assumes that we have developed a goal.  The Law of Attraction comes into play when we focus on an expected outcome because we will then attract the resources and everything that we need to make it happen.

We often see the Law of Attraction as bringing this to us, and although this is true, it is only half the story.  The other half is in understanding that when we focus on a goal with intent, it is as though we put a filter in the front of our perception that filters out what we need from what is already there.

When we are not focussed, we will fail to see the people, events and opportunities that are all around us.  They are always there and have always been there, but we fail to see them until we are focussed.  It is then that we filter out exactly what we need. To check that we have the appropriate filters in place, we need to test the image.  This is the research stage of any project when we test the market, or we tell others about our idea and test their reaction.  We are answering the questions, “Is this the right idea”, “Do I need to adapt my plan or idea”, “How can I improve it”?

Willpower Five - Self Belief

Up to this point, all that we have looked at in willpower has been internal.  That is, our dreams and ideas have all been internalised, hatched within the introvert part of our personality.  We can all have daydreams and good ideas that stay within our fantasy mind forever.
